A Full-Service Hair Salon
DnK is a family run salon in the heart of Hove, owned by brothers Kevin and Dean, who have been in business together for over 40 years.
Our salon is well known for its welcoming and friendly atmosphere, making our clients feel and look their best!
We cater for clients of all ages and hair types from the latest trends to a good old shampoo and set!
Along side our fantastic team of hair stylists we also have our wonderful beauty therapist, tattoo artist, osteopath, semi-permanent make up artist and sun bed!

Behind the Chair
Kevin
Salon Owner and senior stylist
Kevin is co-owner of DnK Hair and Beauty, he is a senior stylist, specialising in all areas of hairdressing and has been a hairdresser and business owner for over 40 years now! Kevin enjoys all areas of hairdressing but is particularly fond of doing highlights and cutting. Over the years kevin has accumulated a large number of loyal and happy clients, and always goes out of his way to accommodate new and existing clients, whether it’s coming in early or staying late at times.
Dean
Salon owner and Senior Stylist
Dean is co-owner if DnK Hair and Beauty, he is a senior stylist, specialising in all areas of hairdressing and has been a hairdresser and business owner for over 40 years now! Dean enjoys all areas of hairdressing but is particularly fond of doing bridal hair and colouring. Over the years Dean has accumulated a large number of loyal and happy clients, and always goes out of his way to accommodate new and existing clients, whether it’s coming in early or staying late at times.
Lottie
Senior stylist
Lottie is a senior stylist specialising in all areas of hairdressing but particularly fond of colouring, hair extensions and bridal hair, she is also Kevin’s daughter and Deans niece, following in her dad and uncles footsteps she joined the family business and has now been hairdressing for over 13 years.
Jean
Senior stylist
Jean is a senior stylist, specialising in the classic hair services such as perms and shampoo and sets, she has been with DnK hair from the start brightening all her clients and colleagues day with her smiley face and kind nature.
Natalia
Stylist
Natalia is our newly qualified stylist, she is already proving to be a brilliant hair stylist, she is confident, professional and continues to practice, learn and improve her hairdressing skills.
Conor
Junior stylist / apprentice
Conor is our junior stylist and apprentice. Alongside his training he takes care of the day to day jobs in the salon, greeting clients, washing hair etc. He Always has a smile on his face and you can’t help but love his infectious laugh and energy!
Karen
Senior stylist
Karen is a self employed senior stylist with many years of experience, specialising in women’s hair, she has a large clientele of her own. Karen has been with DnK hair from the beginning and is truly part of the DnK family, her thoughtful and kind nature has formed close relationships with all her clients and colleagues.
Brenda
Senior stylist
Brenda is a self employed senior stylist with over 40 years experience, she enjoys all areas of hairdressing but is particularly fond of colouring and cutting. She has a large number of loyal and happy clients, existing and new, she always impresses with her creativity and professionalism.
Wurz
Tattoo artist
Wurz is owner of Shoreline Ink tattoo studio, situated within DnK.With many years of experience doing fantastic tattoos, he has a large number of returning customers! His great sense of humour and friendly, chilled out personality will put you instantly at ease.

Acupuncturist
Sue first experienced acupuncture when searching for help with hay fever. She was
amazed to find that she gained relief! Sue knew she had found something powerful
and wanted to share the results with others.
She originally came from a scientific background and decided to re-start her career.
She successfully trained for a degree in acupuncture and for the past three
decades, she has worked with people of all ages dealing with problems such as
back and neck pain, sciatica, frozen shoulder, digestive problems and allergies,
hormonal issues and children’s health to name a few.

wonderful aspect of this ancient art is facial revitalisation. This treatment provides

Cancellations
Our Flexible Hair Salon Policy
At DnK Hair and Beauty, we do our best to make sure all your needs are taken care of. We take a 20% deposit upon booking which will then be deducted from the total cost of your appointment. If you have to cancel or change your appointment, just let us know with at least 24 hours notice where possible . If you inform us less than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment, we will have to keep the deposit. If you need to cancel and give us 24 hours notice or more, we will either re book you appointment for another time or we will refund your deposit.
